Biana Bernshtein

Congratulations to Biana Bernshtein, Zuckerman-CHE Israeli Woman Postdoctoral Scholar (Alumna), on her new position as Assistant Professor at Tel Aviv University’s Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research. Dr. Bernshtein did her postdoctoral work at the Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT and Harvard. Her lab will investigate ways in which immune protection fight bacterial and viral gut infections. These infections affect millions of individuals around the world, as antimicrobial-resistant strains continue to rise.
