Adi Ashkenazi, a Zuckerman Israeli Postdoctoral Scholar alumna, landed at Tel Aviv University in the School of Physics and Astronomy after a postdoctoral position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she worked in the Hadronic Physics Group and was based at Fermilab. Her research focuses on experimental particle physics and neutrinos, with particular attention to how nuclear effects shape neutrino-nucleus interactions and influence the precision of major neutrino experiments. At Tel Aviv University, Dr. Ashkenazi continues to build strong bridges to the US through her roles in international collaborations including MicroBooNE and DUNE, her leadership in electron-scattering work at Jefferson Lab, and her contributions to neutrino event-generator development.
