Roy Zektzer

Zuckerman Faculty Scholar Roy Zektzer was an invited presenter at Quantum West 2026 in San Francisco, California. . There, he presented a technique for converting and controlling laser light across wavelengths using ultra-low-power electro-optic frequency combs. Combining advanced laser methods with atom–light interactions supports the development of compact, chip-scale light sources for quantum technologies, including translation from the telecom band to visible, and potentially blue, wavelengths. The approach offers a scalable, low-power platform for quantum experiments and may facilitate improved precision, miniaturization, and integration of future quantum devices.
