Alex Brodsky

Congratulations to Zuckerman Faculty Scholar Alex Brodsky on opening the Brodsky Structure Lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Ben-Gurion University.

In the lab, Dr. Brodsky and his team will  will research topics, such as progressive collapse, and earthquakes and seismic behavior,  that will eventually lead to new discoveries in structural engineering. With its custom capabilities, researchers and industry partners will have access to an unparalleled environment in which to test, innovate, and reimagine how buildings and materials respond to extreme conditions. Dr, Brodsky hopes the lab will lead he next generation of resilient design,  leading to stronger, safer structures.
