Brian Welch

Congratulations to Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholar (alum) Brian Welch on beginning a position as assistant professor  at the University of Missouri in the fall. In that capacity, Dr. Welsh announced that he will be opening his research laboratory, which will focus on leveraging polymeric interfaces with monomer-level specificity to address challenges in water, energy, and next-generation microelectronics. Building on his expertise in atomic and molecular layer deposition and vapor-phase infiltration, Dr. Welch’s work will also emphasize self-driving experimentation and data-driven materials design.
