Congratulations to Dr. Tal Iram, Zuckerman Israeli postdoc alumna, on joining the faculty in the Department of Molecular Neuroscience at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Iram is using innovative research to fight Alzheimer’s on whole new level by studying glia cells, vital brain cells that support neurons. Her current research focuses on understanding glial plasticity, targeting early signs of cognitive decline, and developing tools to fight Alzheimer’s and other diseases.
