Prof. Yoav Shechtman, Zuckerman Faculty Scholar at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, for receiving the first IUPAB* Young Investigator Medal and Prize for his continuous effort to develop new imaging tools for higher resolution and applications for use in biophysics.
Asst. Prof. Shechtman’s Nano-Bio-Optics lab focuses on developing optical processing for nanoscale imaging.
